- 1-day celebration
- Each year on the Vernal Equinox on Quanus (3.20, 21 or 22)
Nowruz roughly translates to “The New Day.” On this day, Quantar traditionally abandon their cities and their work and head for the countryside, the seas, the lakes and the parks. Picnics, both family and community, abound, as does traditional dancing and music.
For Quantar pilots in space Nowruz is the festival that they miss most keenly. Some celebrate with friends and family on their home station. Others head to deep space ‘roid fields — not just to mine but to contemplate and to gaze at the beauty of creation.
